I suggested Conan exiles, but my friend group is already burnt out on it. Plenty of quests and npcs would be a bonus.
Kind of like Skyrim but a multi-player survival mode. $2.50 on steam, Medieval/Fantasy theme and combat system is so much fun. Id like a medieval survival game with an open world. I couldn't tell by your post if you specifically wanted Survival and MMOs, but if you're looking for some fun medieval combat, check out Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, and keep your eye out for Mordhau, which is a similar, yet much more polished game that's coming in March.
